Rather enjoyable rant on people's unwillingness to use appropriate pronouns over at the Trans Group Blog. It may seem like such a simple thing, and I think as she explains, the uninitiated individual will choose the path of non-confrontation. I believe, it's absolutely necessary to confront the issue and deliberately advise the individual your offended. People love to say "but it's so hard"... or "I just keep forgetting".... no they don't.... It's deliberate, and that's and excuse.
