Shifting Gears
Dear Through the Looking Glass Readers,
Thank you for your support these past two years, but alas I must slow down the pace of my writing. As my children have gotten older, now eight and nine, they’ve gotten hard to ignore and actually a whole lot of fun. It has become increasingly difficult for me to carve out the time each month to compose a quality article. So, I’m now striving to sweep away enough of my commitments so that if my wife, Melissa, says she’s taking the kids to some silly movie on a Sunday, I can say, “Sure, I’ve got nothing better to do,” or at least nothing else that need occupy my mind until that first patient walks through my door Monday morning. I will, though, continue to write Through the Looking Glass pieces every few months as insp
